I have just kicked the bastard flu about a week ago. It lasted for three weeks. Started off as just a tickle in the back of the throat and an occasional cough and a few hours later I was coughing up my toe nails .... non far can stop.

It was a shit experience and now that I am cured I am still in the shit as dear wife came down with it just as I was getting over it.

It has not been fun. I have not had serious flu for over 20 years at least.

The worst thing I was guilty of aside from bashing beer, was drinking Diet Coke for a pick me up when on the road. These days, water, tea and coffee work fine

Yep.

Sister in law works nuclear medicine in the Gong. few weeks ago had to tell a 19yo that her lungs were cactus and needed a transplant from vaping.
