Bloke I work with had a heart attack in the car park just as he was leaving 1 afternoon about 2 years ago, he's 44 now, you never saw him without a can of red bull in his hand. Luckily for him the hospital is straight across the road from work. Had about 3 months off work and when he came back said he wouldn't touch them again, he's back on them lately I've noticed.

Not for me to preach though as I'm a bad coke drinker and smoker.

Rain Water, milk, tea and coffee for moi.

And I like reconstituted apple juice. Woolworths or Coles brand, and yeah, I know I live on the razors edge.

You can tell me if you like Sladden. There is a good chance I won't remember it tomorrow.

When my staff do a drug and alcohol assessment at work one of the listed substances they have to explore is energy drinks. They are shit.

cheese's anecdote is not foreign. I've known of half a dozen late 30 to mid 40 year olds to fall off the perch with heart attacks caused by energy drinks.

Also, as Stake said, sorbitol is the devils elixir.
