Yep I'm still filthy about that call - utter BS.

He doesn't play it on the mark, he puts the ball behind the marker - lost ball.
And its gets basically zero mention in commentary or match reports.

Just watch our semi get decided by something similar - the number of players either walking another few metres off the mark & taking the markers out of play, or stepping sideways off the mark for the same result - Brandon Smith & the purple scum are the worst offenders, but Latrell is up there too.

I reckon Val could have made more money in gridiron had he ,and maybe his backers and US Mentors realised and promoted his strengths. Broken play , running behind 150 kg blockers , ??? None better !! World class!

On the other hand ... Running back plays , runner or receiving pass on called plays or blocking instead ??? with specific instructions??? competeing against guys been doing it all their lives ? and being a hammerhead that wants to be main man ? Not likely.

He IS world class athlete , But as Clint Eastwood said ... "a mans got to know his limitations. " Not many limitations in Vals case But a few very exploitable ones I think. I think Sharks will have learned a lot from what was very first semi final for most. Love to see a Cows Sharks GF .. Don t even know if its possible but Id even put money on it ,and Im not a gambling man .

I was a huge Val Holmes fan until he did the NFL dirty on us and got out of his last year of his contract with us. If Sam didn’t feel that was a big f u to the Club and fans then he must like getting kicked in the nuts.

As for Chad the Club wanted to go in a different direction at the end of his contract and obviously so did he. Once he’s wearing another Club’s colours I could not give a f**k about him. Also his self promotion and his dedication to his “ brand” is not my cup of tea. It’s not the type of person I’m a fan of, look up to, admire or like.
