Wow we got two points. As a team performance and especially a team that was meant to be fighting for a top four spot, that was absolutely pathetic.

Thank f**k Souffs were pathetic-er then we were.

Do our blokes just do the one out hit ups just to give me the shits or what.

Well if it is a team plan than it is one of only a few plans that is working and has worked all season.

I have to keep checking the ladder, fur huck we are still fourth.

The trash constant 1 out runners with no support is a major reason why I stopped watching weeks ago

He's been better as a fill in compared to how he's been as a bloke with a big opportunity. He's been invisible since they put a 6 on his back. He twies, weally, weally hard but he doesn't seem to have a very big bag of tricks
If he’s more than a regular 18 we’re in trouble, and we are

A few things for me;

Katoa doesn’t look right - hasn’t for weeks. I think he’s carrying something relatively debilitating.

Ramien has been much better in the shit for brains department recently, but got old manned and dragged back to the dumb dumb corner by the dumbest player in the league.

Toby is currently our best prop and the only one with any venom in his hit ups - that’s a real worry.

Our attention to detail (particularly at the start of games) is disgusting.

Talakai to centre please!!!!

I get worried if we score first and even more so when we’re in front at half time!!!

On a night the Storm lost to the Dragons, let’s take the 2 points and move on. Whilst the Rabbitohs aren’t great, their form since they sacked their coach wasn’t the worst.

I made the comment during the game and I will say the same again. Rather than hitting hard and tackling the player with the ball, we wrestle so the post contact metres are high and we are back peddling fast.

Furthermore, what bothers me is that there can be three wrestlers in a tackle and the opposition gets a second phase ball away - we are caught well short.

I think Fitzgibbon is trying to turn our forwards into a fast mobile pack, but it’s at the expense of power and strength. BHU is a perfect example. He always used to break the line, now he gets hammered and driven back 5 metres.

This kind of summed up that game for me:
I was there with a South’s mate and the usual others,
When DA threw that horrible 3m forward pass on the right wing when he could have simply put a kick in, or pass it better…
then 2 mins later South’s get a 6 again in an attacking position and threw it over the touch line on the right wing
Me: “we are watching the same two teams who are watching each other in a mirror”

it wasn’t until Sifa was at left centre did the said mirror look to have a crack in it

And it only cracked for about 5 minutes until our brains trust superglued the cracks back together. Then, it was back to match plan 101. Five one out hit ups with a kick on the sixth.

I so just love the one out hit ups. The way the other blokes just stand rooted to the ground as the bloke takes it up. The way they position them selves to be the next one to have a go.

Gee it must be so hard for the opposition to defend against this.

I hope someone noted how the Dogs killed the Donks last week by the old "using the ball" trick to move the opposition defence around a park.

Yep. I said to ToP, I wouldn't be surprised if we banged on 4 quick tries here with Sifa out there at centre, if we keep going left.

Team went back to normal positions

The more things change..the more they stayed the same
