So many clubs blood their youngsters and get a good dividend for their effort and then there is what we do which is just unforgivable.
So that means young Kerr can look forward to exile upon his arrival and maybe 2.5 years into his contract he will get a 20 minute cameo to see if we want to keep him.
Thank god blokes like us saw us at our best and even when we didn't win comps we played with pride, honour, heart and soul.

I notice you have Rocket as your profile pick ,referring to your last sentence ,I wonder what he must think when he watches the crap our mob dish up these days.
I know there are a few on here who don't like Rocket because he walked out as coach ,but I think the coach could do well to show some of the blokes in our side who purport to be professionals and collect a paycheque accordingly, some video footage of him(Rocket) and see what it is really like to put in and not just talk about it to the press every week.

Rocket was a great footballer and at his top typified what all Dragon players should aspire to.
Like many he was not cut out for coaching and of course Superleague caused enormous schisms.
Not withstanding any of that just on what he dished out to Higgs and Price in 1 game of football shows how tough and focused he was in doing what was necessary to win.
I loved watching how masterful and skilful he was and just put anything outside of his football ability down to people picking the wrong bloke for the job sound familiar?

Of course it is especially when we get bashed off the park by the team that was running 15th you frankly have NFI.
You and your kind our rusted onto players who have had years and plenty of games to turn it around and you live in the hope tomorrow will be different.
The very well founded idea is to get rid of the no hopers and try the one's who might make a difference for you.
Anyway you and super coach have got it all worked out so well done today on your selections and outcome.

I agree that since Brown, the Dragons have been atrocious at bringing through young players. But the very well founded idea is that it's bad idea to bring in young players, especially young forwards too quickly. Would it have done Host's confidence any good to have been out there yesterday? Do you think he could have changed the result? If he were a 5/8, 1/2 or hooker I would also be on the brink of a coronary and I agree he should have been brought in sooner. Both he and Leilua but as things stand, leaving him out in favor of Matthews or LAM or Leilua was the correct decision. Even in hindsight.
Next year I expect he will be a regular, week in week out, first-grader.
