Game day V Roosters

Reminds me of last week.

Was thinking the same....
Roosters were dead set awful, and yet it took a dubious penalty for us to beat them.
We had nothing in attack, 1 line break for the match, with our points coming from kicks or roosters errors. I wonder what Mary says about kicks this week?

Very lucky Hastings tried to be the hero and run himself with a 4 man overlap.....
Youth and inexperience beat the roosters today, not our pathetic effort..

Cue in the rack, players forgetting their role, panic.
Refs were disgraceful but it should've been put away with a few cool plays long before full time.

How many of our kicks went dead in goal and gave the Roosters 7 tackles from the 20 meter line? I counted at least 6 !

The need for a composed and 1st grade standard half-back was on full display today. Josh McCrone is dreadful and we need to spend every cent available on a decent half-back.

I have been Gareth Widdop's biggest critic of late. He had a terrific 1st half....BUT where was he in the 2nd half?

Finally; when we lead by 18 can we go on with it so I can sit back, enjoy a couple of lazy bourbons and watch us run riot? Seriously, I want to watch a game where we put the other team to the sword !

Dragons players should celebrate that win because a win is a win and we will take what we can get. It's hard to believe we've won as many games as we have lost this year when you consider everything that's gone on. But not one of those wins has been very enjoyable as we've tried our best to lose each of them. We must have kicked the ball dead 8 times in that second half. Interesting that Nightingale said Mary's advice at half time was hold the ball, defend and discipline. Explains a lot. A repeat of last week.

Not complaining...we won at least.

Didn't Cordner make contact with his shoulder? Wonder if that's why they dragged him off so quick?

Nappa made a fair tackle, the force of the tackle caused Milne to clash heads with Cordner. He was hurt just like Milne, so the roosters trainer took him off..
Another penalty awarded to us at a crucial moment from a poor ref decision...

2 of the Roosters tries shouldn't have happened. The 1st try came after one of the worst forward passes I have ever seen. The second was a knock on, dropped onto Tanne's leg before he got his foot to it, therefore, a knock on. That took the wind out of our sails and gave them heaps of confidence. Granted, we didn't play well at all in the second half, but we dug in and a win is a win.

Amen, I don't like bagging coaches but mcgregor is a complete prat he looked frightened before the kickoff, no wonder there is no respect.

One of the fox commentators said we are 67 - 7 in the second half of games this year.

Says it all really. Yes we need a half back who can lead and inspire the team especially when the games on the line. Yes we need someone who can break the line and look to pass.
Milne looked ok, some really crunch tackles. He, like Lafai can't get the ball in open spaces.

A win is a win and I will take it......but please can we dispense with the heart attack second halves, I haven't got any valium tabs left!!!!!!!!
