The worry is that the half they needed to help ice that game in the 2nd half today wasn't up to it with his execution and poor kicking options.... and he is going to be one of our halves sooner rather than later....

Their half has the same issue as our current one, in which he's the only one doing the job for two. Hopefully most of their issues would be rectified if they were both on the one team.

Thought his defence looked better too Poo. Not sure if BA hooked him after the miss that led to a Tigpie try or it was part of the plan. If so it was definitely a change to BAs usual Kaysa plan. His return coincided with Scotts injury.
Either way Kaysa looked so much more energetic in his second run. Maybe less fatigued.

I'm as happy as the next bloke we got the 2 points, it was desperately needed and more than anything just to give the boys a confidence boost.

I just hope the boys move on from it and realise there is still a LOT of work that needs to be done if they are going to be a competitive outfit for the rest of the season. Seen it a millions times before where we have a lucky win/s which masks how truly average we are going then we come back to earth with a thud quickly.

We aren't a top 4 side so I suspect we will continue to do what all other average teams do which is win some and lose some.

I'm sure they realise that there is a lot of work required to become a top 4 side. But do they have they roster and playing talent to do this? I would argue that if they suddenly became a top 4 side then they would be significantly over achieving.
