Well they had the previous three sets on our line, so had all the possession. If the Tigers were a decent side they would have concentrated on controlling the play the ball in defence right after that.

But alas for us, the Tigers are a genuine Bottom 4 contender only.

They were mid table last year. They are the same side this year.

The worry is that the half they needed to help ice that game in the 2nd half today wasn't up to it with his execution and poor kicking options.... and he is going to be one of our halves sooner rather than later....

We aren't a top 4 side so I suspect we will continue to do what all other average teams do which is win some and lose some.

I'm sure they realise that there is a lot of work required to become a top 4 side. But do they have they roster and playing talent to do this? I would argue that if they suddenly became a top 4 side then they would be significantly over achieving.

Thought his defence looked better too Poo. Not sure if BA hooked him after the miss that led to a Tigpie try or it was part of the plan. If so it was definitely a change to BAs usual Kaysa plan. His return coincided with Scotts injury.

The commentators said he was limping before he got hooked.

Either way Kaysa looked so much more energetic in his second run. Maybe less fatigued.

We still won 7 of our last 14 games last season with a group of players that you would say werent as good as these players.

As a result you would expect an improved performance this season.

This team isnt performing remotely as well as the team we put on the field in the last 14 matches last season

I want to see this team perform considerably better week to week.

Will we win 50% of our matches this season? I don't think we will.
