Game day vs Eel

Positive afternoon/night out.
Good to be back.
Beer line was longest I’ve ever seen in my days but overall plenty of struggles with staffing due to Covid from what was being said at the ground. Members bar had Dino in there pulling beers supposably.
The game…. Plenty to work on and there are elements there that looked terrible at times, but it was also slick in at attack at time and dead set the defence was solid as.
I could have walked away with a lose and would have worn it, but a great win for the club all round - coach, team and supporters. Particularly Nico.
Get to the game people - great days to be a supporter.

McInnes admitted to being severely underdone in post-match interview.

“I was blowin’ after two minutes… Didn’t contribute much…”

Once match-fit, he’s an 80-minute player with footy smarts.

Good times ahead!

Yep, play him off the bench a few more weeks and slowly increase his minutes. Him at lock is going to a big upgrade on Finucane's ball playing. Don't get me wrong I have man love for Dale but McInness offers more in attack.

Beer queues are outrageous. Even members bar is out the door
Was insane. I was there when Dino got hammered and jumped behind the bar. Good on him for doing it.

I lined up with 10 to go in the first half got served 5 into the 2nd half. In the members bar. The line was out the door!! merkins in there in parra jerseys. Come on. My neighbour(who is hosting kick ons god bless him) waited 45 minutes in the GA bar at the north end.

He was in front of me for an hour before the game. He was favouring his good leg big time. He was not anywhere near ready, the bench was screaming for him to come off.
Personally I would have rather Hunt be in the side tonight.

We couldn't get a beer in the members bar.
The bar near the SW entrance had a line outside the ground.
I saw people leave as they had beer at home.

I thought our stupid tackle 4 and 5 penalties were going to cost us the game, despite dominating overall I thought.

1 thing I loved to see is how close and matey the team are - there seems to be a really good bond amongst them, the whole group….. I’ve genuinely got 2016 vibes - I said before the season, I have us finishing 2nd or 3rd on the ladder. Plenty of pundits have said they think this is Parra’s Premiership window, and we showed we can dominate them.

That little b++++h Moses whinged and whined and stood offside all night. Very happy to see his look when we scored in the last minute.
