Positive afternoon/night out.
Good to be back.
Beer line was longest I’ve ever seen in my days but overall plenty of struggles with staffing due to Covid from what was being said at the ground. Members bar had Dino in there pulling beers supposably.
The game…. Plenty to work on and there are elements there that looked terrible at times, but it was also slick in at attack at time and dead set the defence was solid as.
I could have walked away with a lose and would have worn it, but a great win for the club all round - coach, team and supporters. Particularly Nico.
Get to the game people - great days to be a supporter.
I was going to go to the game with mydaughter but alert on face book that said it was a sell out, but it looked great on TV..

He was in front of me for an hour before the game. He was favouring his good leg big time. He was not anywhere near ready, the bench was screaming for him to come off.
Personally I would have rather Hunt be in the side tonight.
Can’t fathom why they played him when it wasn’t really necessary. Assume he came through unscathed?
Not sure It did anything for Royce either - whilst limited minutes last week, he had impact.
Coach knows best I guess

Was insane. I was there when Dino got hammered and jumped behind the bar. Good on him for doing it.

I lined up with 10 to go in the first half got served 5 into the 2nd half. In the members bar. The line was out the door!! merkins in there in parra jerseys. Come on. My neighbour(who is hosting kick ons god bless him) waited 45 minutes in the GA bar at the north end.
And they are serving Great Northern amber urine - both full strength and mid strength. Dead set.
The club has more sponsorships than ever before and can’t get a decent brewery on board.
Manly and all the asbestos riddled Lottoland, have 4!Pines on board - why can’t the club get at least a choice of two options.

$12 for a little bucket of ‘popcorn’ chicken and $7.50 for a small bucket of chips.. $6 for a solo. Crazy new prices. The food was never great, but it’s a lot worse and a lot more expensive. Can’t speak for the food trucks.

Have you ever seen a player carrying on like a drama Queen like Moses, and his reaction to the Ramian tackle which there was no malice in it…
When that happened and a Parra player came in to support Moses, you could almost see him let it go knowing how much a sook his teammate is. Next minute, Moses is in the refs ear whinging he was hit late.

I never eat at the footy, not that I go much but to me that is stock standard footy prices for poor quality food. They've been doing it since Jesus was a pup.

maybe at some grounds.. couple of years ago the food was a bit better while still not cheap, a lot better value for money at shark park.. someone else has obviously taken over.

Why can't they learn from the Yanks.

At the venues I've to over there you get choice, reasonable to good quality and the prices aren't extortative like they are here.

Standing in line for beers yesterday I realised I am dead set old. A grey nomad turns around as asks me what a RTD is - and I had know idea.

I had moccona dark with full cream milk, two monte carlos and one orange slice whilst sitting in my corporate box at the old mates place.

It was a very pleasant afternoon / evening.
