Two points.
1. Might be the last we see of Kennedy.
2. one for
@Frenzy. Reckon the team is burnt out. The intensity change got the better of them . Ran out of gas
1. Well, he's got a contract for 2023 and I haven't hear anything about him wanting to leave. That's not to say they wouldn't release him if someone came knocking. Who needs a fullback? I wouldn't be surpised if Bennett was having a look. There are other long term options. Dykes for one who I think will end up a 6. Then we have a kid called Siteni Taukamo who is a pistol and a potential gun and few other good uns. Can't see Bubba here as a long term option
2. I reckon the most burnt out are the most injured and they were brought back in or battled on because they were playing semis. Finucane, Kennedy and Sifa all have injuries that need long rests. Bring them back underdone and the pressure mounts on everyone else, which should happen because they play for each other. It does burn them out though, across the squad. I remember a game sometime in the last few rounds when I spoke of fatigue errors. That never really went away.
Yet, I thought they were a chance in every game because of the same play for each other attitude. The semis, the higher intensity, the inexperience, the walking wounded was too much in the end.
