We’ve been bad. But some of these ref calls have been absolutely horrendous.

Murray playing ball sideways leading to try.
Knock on in the ruck leading to try.
shadowing the ball call just then. Lol.

No replays on any of them

Mulitalo offside length of the field try, no replay, any of them

No X factor in our team, no point of difference to make the opposition have to worry/think about something different. We were very pedestrian in attack - so easy to read.

We lack a giant, or a tackle busting back row/centre that has defences shitting themselves and second guessing what to do, especially once Talakai was out.

Kennedy was anonymous, Tracey/Miller is little threat as an edge, Wade (as I’ve said since last season) is unfortunately way waaaay past his sell by date - absolutely zero threat ball in hand, or as a ball player (can’t be a threat as a ball player if you’re not also a running threat first and foremost).

With very little strike power out there, Nicho had to be fairly erratic to try and create something.

Disagree, when we have a fit squad and play well we have plenty of strike.

Talakai and Ramien as damaging as any centre pairing. Nicho, Moyza and Kennedy skills and hands. Ronnie and Katoa as good as any wingers.

We just shat the bed en masses last night. Kennedy has shown in the past he needs games to hit his stride. Our left edge of Tracey and Miller unfortunately got rinsed by Graham et al.

Agree on Wade, if he hangs around he has to perform a Fifita type role off tbh bench to start the season. Tieg has been disappointing with his discipline and denfence and I want him to play a position for a bunch of weeks to see if he really is as good as we think he is.

The meth, look what it does.

Having lived in Cronulla for over 20 years, you have no call to bring that on South’s supporters, I probably know more Shonks fans than you’ve ever known & the amount of drugs & stupidity around here is worse than anywhere in “South Sydney”

Agree with parts….

Think people massively underestimate how much we’ve missed Katoa - particularly out of yardage, but also to just do something a bit different, even if that’s spin on the spot 3 times, goose step then fall on the floor…. At least has the defence thinking ‘what the f**k…’

It wasn't at the "south sydney" part you fool, it was at your random outburst at coming in here angrily like some unhinged loon. Put the faux outrage away and fk off.

Anyone see Trells post match interview. Never been a massive fan of the bloke but f**k he was gracious and now I’m on the Trell Train. Toot toot
I didn't see it but I've never understood the hate he gets to be honest. Seems like a pretty decent bloke to me.

People need to relax and not overreact to these last losses.

The only areas the sharks really need improvement is props, and lock. Wade will be given another year, but he needs to have the tap on the shoulder that Fifita got.

I'm pretty confident Kennedy will be fine. I think it's unfair to judge him on the last two weeks when literally just came back from a pretty severe ankle injury. But I do like him having pressure from Dykes and Miller.

Wings are pretty locked with Ronnie and Katoa. Katoa was missed, especially when Ikuvalu couldn't stay healthy.

Ramien needs to take another step in 2023. It's frustrating because he has the tools, but his discipline is poor. Talakai did well in centre and could stay there, but I'm not sure that's the best position for him. Iro could step up in 2023.

Halves are fine - but I want to see more versatility in the kicking game. What was really exposed in the last two games was that the Sharks allow teams to go at their kickers with high pressure. The good teams put players between the markers and the kicker to give their playmakers time. The Sharks don't.

Nikora was great this season, and got even better at the end of the season. Really happy with his improvement. Teig was great to start the season, but I think coming off the bench didn't help him.

Brailey showed signs of improvement this season, and overall was good. But he needs to be able to contribute to games where he doesn't have quick PTBs to take advantage of. I kind of felt like the nerves may have got to him this game.

Rudolf is great, Hunt was solid, and Hamlin-Uele started strong but didn't seem the same after returning from injury. Sharks really need to add to the props in addition to Kaufusi.
Love your positive slant on the club. A little bit Pollyanna for mine but that’s OK. More glaringly, Will Kennedy’s defence is as efficient as a $20 Rolex. Can’t be fixed.

Would go well for the Knights/Tigers/Dogs if they wanna throw us an offer of what he’s worth - a Datsun 200B (automatic, not a manual) & throw in a $100 iTunes gift card to sweeten the deal.
