I'll also point out that there's obvious benefit for non town to avoid voting.

While mafia might decide who dies (as lame as that may be) they're not going to take a random stab in the dark. They'll take out those who are either confirmed or semi-confirmed in regards to roles or powers.

So if we fail to get a lynch (and there's been more than enough time and active people to achieve this) take a look at those who delayed the vote.

I'm more inclined to follow KTF than allow mafia to choose the lynch target. With a 4.00pm deadline to reach a consensus, momentum is key.

This makes sense, although it was the lack of justification for your change that got my interest.

If PP is mafia, why not out him earlier? And if I'm a polar bear, why wouldn't you claim so too? You strike two in two nights but you hold the info to yourself?!

I was thinking it was funny a polar bear turning up night 2 and killing someone after someone new was added to the game. Be strange for a indie killer to have a 2nd night kill. Happy to vote either way.

Without role claiming, I know more about the island than most regular townies would, and I watch which part of the jungle people go back to.

No chance that all 3 mafia jump on and we still don't get a lynch, that's the point.

Lynch on town is good for mafia, mafia getting to pick who dies (again, a really stupid idea) is even better. They are in a no lose situation (again, dumb).
