Haha whatever you flog. Everything was extremely telegraphed.
Because the entire internet spread around theories f**king predicting it. f**k I'd hate to be D&D sometimes, you just make a wonderful episode and then some idiots say 'yeah that was pretty well done but we already predicted it, soooo, sorry'.

Was anyone else scared that Ramsay would sneakily pull out a dagger while Jon was having at him on the ground?
Thinking back, did Sansa even tell Jon about the Vale and Littlefinger's offer of support? Did Jon not think to ask them for help? Do the Boltons and the other houses that fought for them have no scouts? How did the Knights of the Vale make it to Winterfell unseen and so quickly? It works as a deus ex machina in Lord of the Rings because it's a ghost army. That kind of thing doesn't work when it's thousands of real living people who have to travel halfway across the continent through enemy held territory.
The way all that was handled seemed like lazy writing, unless I'm overlooking something.

No, of course she didn't tell Jon. It all goes back to when she withheld from Jon that she went to meet up with Littlefinger. She didn't tell Jon or the others because she wanted it done her own way without any possible objections.
Littlefinger is the smartest man in Westeros. I'm sure he and arguably the best army in Westeros could figure out ways to avoid detection.
Gandalf didn't rock up to Helm's Deep with a ghost army.
I don't understand the pointless nitpicking. It's an epic fantasy people.
As Rickon is running, it's super tense. Suddenly my girlfriend and I scream 'PIVOT!' simultaneously. So we were laughing pretty hard when he died.
It was predictable, but it had to be. What else could have possibly happened in that episode?
Next week is going to be a wild ride though.
That's just a cop out.
There is tonnes of fantasy and sci fi that holds up to scrutiny.
Were the Manderly's alongside Ramsay? I could pick out the Smalljon (obviously) and a few Karstark banners, but did I just miss the Manderly contingent?

I like how whenever anything is questioned the defenders arc up with 'it's just a bit of fun, who cares' defense.
