f**k some people are hard to please, if i had to criticise anything I probably would have expected a few more central characters to get the arse, but seriously I'm still shaking and I finished watching it 30 mins ago

best episode of all? maybe not but geez it's set the bar pretty damn high for the final 3.

Well yeah the Night King of course. Not sure why they had all the other White Walkers not doing anything, seeing some of them actually go down in battle would have been a bit more satisfying that just shattering when the boss man died.

I would say the hope would’ve been more so that the Dothraki wouldn’t just be instantly snuffed out. Outside of that, having them involved in any plan isn’t really going to work well as it’s just not how they operate.

Everything else they had planned was then just overwhelmed by sheer numbers.

Getting the drop on the white walkers and night king after being trained in stealth by the faceless men. Dropping that knife and catching it again in such a fluid motion - like a water dancer, you might say - then stabbing him right where the Hound showed her it was.

So many foreshadowed payoffs in a few moments.

My favourite part of the episode is all the neckbeards crying Mary Sue About Arya now.

Solid episode with some cool moments but I don't think it was the best battle of the show considering how much they hyped it.

The darkness, while unsettling took me out of it a bit due to just not understanding everything that was happening on screen. Particularly the first 40 mins or so.

It had some good pay offs however and wasn't terrible.

I was expecting a few more considerable deaths on the good guys side.

Arya is the star of the show.
