Yeah ep 4-6 is defo a possibility, but, you just wonder how long Ser Davos and co will be able to hide his body from the Night's Watch mutineers wanting to burn it, and 4-6 episodes might be a bit of a stretch.
Well the wildlings and the other half of the nights watch will be their too. I think their will be plenty of conflict at the wall burning Jons body may not be to high on the priority list. Their will also be the issue of electing a new lord commander. 4 episodes may mean we only get half a dozen scenes at the wall before than too.
Burning the body would be high on the priority list as it's the first thing they do after a Black Brother dies- they like to stick to routine. They'll go to retrieve his body shortly after he's dead, and when they realise there's some Snow supporters hiding his body, they won't just say 'meh, we'll come back later'.
Why does pressure need to be put on him? Spoilt self-entitlement yet again. He doesn't need to be pressured like that because he's not your bitch.
He's a slow writer, of course there needs to be pressure on him. He's failed numerous times to meet deadlines, yet you think his publishers should let him write without one?
That's ridiculous, deadlines are part of his job, his profession. You're treating it like its a hobby. Not self entitlement, it's reality.
If you were his publisher then there probably wouldn't even be a series

Traditionally yea they burn the body but their going to be in all out civil war between the those that betrayed Jon, Jons supporters, the wildlings and the remnants of Stannis's forces plus the potential of Sansa arriving at the wall soon. It appeared in the trailer either Davos was fighting the nights watch for Jons body or was preparing to defend it alongside Jons supporters.
Except you aren't speaking from the perspective of a publisher. You're just a fan, and I'm only talking about the fans.
What would you rather? A very well thought-out and great novel that took time, or a rushed half-arsed job sitting in your lap just because your patience was hurt too much?
It will be naive to think the publishers don't have the same perspective. That's why they set deadlines
Obviously you don't want it rushed, but somethimes the more time you give a writer doesn't always translate to a better novel.
It's not like the civil war will kick off right immediately after Jon dies. Knocking down the door to get his body back is what I bet triggers the civil war.
Yep, you don't really have a right to believe that he's your bitch, because he's not.
Ok, no one actually said that. We're saying he's a slow writer, but for some reason you're saying we don't have a right to have this perspective? Strange point you're trying to make
Lol @ deadlines being part of his job. When a writer is as big as GRRM and a series as anticipated as ASOIAF, their publishers do not set deadlines on their singular works. GRRM is rich as f**k, they can't hold cash flow and advances over him like they can an upcoming writer. They ask how many prostitutes he'd like them to send to lick his balls while he writes a word a day. It's not like movies, publishers don't have to invest millions of dollars and trust someone to turn a profit out of it. They just sit and salivate for the part when they start printing, like printing cash. Any deadline is something he allows them, and is subject to him taking up golf.
