I'm just happy I finally got to see Superman fly. He used his super hero speed and then had lift off and flew over the sidelines and tapped the ball in for a super try. Unfortunately for the wrong side.
But @Jake the snake we finally saw Superman Simmonson. It was magic.

Relax mate. We are playing very poor and still almost winning. Once we put it together an get players back we are going to be hard to beat.

I'm completely off him.

We've been struggling defensively for 3 weeks - naturally, he leaves Makatoa on the bench for ages.

I'm no big Makatoa fan, but he ran hard tonight, and defended very well - you'd think he would maybe start the game, to stiffen our defence a bit (especially with Lane, and Matterson, missing).

Nope.

We looked lost in attack for the first 20 minutes - as though our passes were being thrown in slow motion.

And this club wants to extend the guy.

I'm emotional - I've been crook the last few days, it was my birthday yesterday, and I'm pretty sure that my best mate of twenty-three years, is no longer my mate...but I'm done with this club.

I refuse to keep giving my energy to an organisation that clearly does not want to be the best it can be.

Happy birthday for yesterday mate.

My only concern is his pockets may be a bit heavy with that extra cash he is carrying around.

But it bothers me that I care more about this club, and seeing us be successful, than anyone officially associated with it.

Difference these days (post 1980s) is that they all now get paid (very well) for it as a full time job, and we all pay out for it in the interest of our tribal emotions and passion.

It's an economic imbalance between the two elements.

We seem to go really well as a club one year and then suffer a 3-5 year hang over. Remember the 2001 team being unstoppable/breaking records. Then lose to the tigers during round 2 of 2002 with the same team and the hangover began. It's a cultural and confidence issue that's plagued our club for to long
