Aitken is having a very poor game and Lafai not much better. Thompson not containing Norman and McCrone showing us why Mann should be at halfback.

I said we needed changes to the backline and this first half has proved this to be correct. For goodness sake bring Mann off the bench to play halfback. Big backline reshuffle for the next game against the Sharks.

McDonald is going well. Second try Aitken was beaten all ends up by Jennings forcing McDonald to come in. Second try McDonald came in to help Aitken. In hindsight a mistake but given what happened (5?)min earlier, an understandable mistake.

At what point of running with the breeze and being down 3 tries or even 4 tries to nil can't he work out we need some impact FFS.
The defence of the outside backs nothing short of woeful.
LH side is going to be targeted all year from kicks in behind Nighty from 50m out and Aitken will be targeted by any player with good footwork.
2nd half should start with Mann and Host on the field.
However Host and Mann will get the last 10 minutes when we are no chance but to be honest that time has probably gone anyway..

We have another playmaker on the books, whose salary is probably about 10times that of McCrone. Let's see him take over the kicking!
