On DWZ’s intercept try near the end Montoya came from over 50m away sprinting hard down field to get there as early as possible for a congratulations. That little extra effort was great to see.

Wallace not getting ten in the bin was a travesty. Dude has since been suspended for 3 weeks. The referee's explanation at the time to Tohu and co was laughable. Along the lines of it was a shoulder charge (hence the penalty) but no contact with the head, and thus not the cause of Berry being knocked out cold, so no more then a penalty.

The warped logic in that explanation shows what a mess NRL referring is.
