1 out and out prop
1 backrower/prop
1 centre/backrower
1 utility that can add value without injury/young gun who would benefit from a taste of first grade.

Kenny is a better 14 than May because he offers at least soild defence and doesn't get in the way. I'm sure we've all watched the GF at least 10 times May's "contribution" was putrid

Assume Kenny plays instead of May. Who covers when Luai goes off v Storm?

He wasn't good but I doubt he was fit. Hayden Knowles said 12 guys only played because it was a final

Then you are weakening 2 positions. Not to mention a tired player going to an edge

I am hoping O'Sullivan or someone is getting time at centre at training. Kenny needs hooker time
We took the best lock in the world off and put May on for reasons? f**k me he was bad

Interchange is fine. It is the BS that goes on.

X player gets tackled. Minor contact like a slap or finger in the eye. Stays down for few minutes gets both sides a breather.

Player goes on report. Tackled player off for a HIA. Don't get me wrong there is actual head knocks lose a back early on. You will lose the game.

That is why you need cover

I think that rule has been changed slightly.

Exemption of head knocks but either way. Ref will stop play if someone stays down. Head knock always leads to HIA which slows it down more

I was referring more to the interchange rule and getting a fresh replacement if someone goes off with a HIA. That won't happen unless the player fails his HIA or the player gets 10 mins in the bin, or sent off.

Head knocks have always been a stoppage in play.

What has changed is how players tackle these days. The days of tackling a player round the hips and sliding down with the player are long gone.

Tackling a player (whilst the player is standing up) will always lead to more concussions.

There is only 28 days until the season proper starts. I lost my mother yesterday, so I need some much needed cheering up.
Sorry for your loss Jane. The Covid era has been awful for families grieving or with ill relatives. All you can do is try and remember the good times you spent with her and the love you shared.

My mother did have COVID, however, that was not the cause of her death. My mothers heart was at 10% working capacity. She had a blood clot in her lungs, and she was in renal failure. Thanks.

@soc123_au, @Aliceinwonderland, @the-Frog, and @ColdWetPanther, thanks. Her health declined rapidly, and she died in ICU. No members of my family were able to visit. I have been in tears non stop.
Thats so shit that the family couldn't say goodbye. Now isn't the time for politics, but the treatment of the old and dying during the last few years is criminal.

I'm sure it's not much consolation right now, but from what you described at least you know she is now at peace. Just imagine that she is in heaven playing table tennis with Jimi Hendrix. And kicking his arse.

I’m sorry to hear you couldn’t be there but, from the way you have written and described your relationship in here over time, take solace in that she definitely would have known (even if only at a subconscious level) that she was very loved.

Oh she knew. The only reason we could not see her was because of her COVID positive status. It sucks.
