I just remembered something that none of you would know...I almost never lived past 1.

When I was 12 months old, I developed a severe case of the respiratory disease Croup. Basically it's a disease that causes narrowing of the airway, resulting in difficulty breathing.

Anyway, most severe cases of Croup usually only last for 7 days max, spending one or two in hospital. I spent 3 weeks in intensive care at the Mater hospital with tubes down my throat helping me breathe. The doctors there said it was one of the worst cases they'd ever seen *feels proud*

Hehe i rememeber that. I ended up catching a virus on the plane trip home and was crook for a week. Maybe mine was a bit of a hang over, i did drink a lot that weekend.....

Yeah, late last year Leanne (who works at Bi-Lo) told me that Coles had bought out both Bi-Lo and K-mart. I haven't heard anything about the K-mart take-over happening though? Apparently the K-mart at the Hyperdome was going to be converted into a HUGE Coles store (since Coles and K-mart are currently beside each other). Nothing has happened yet though. I've seen Coles stocking a lot of Bi-Lo brand products lately (and vice versa), but that's it so far - I think they are a little behind schedule!

Bi-Lo and Kmart were always members of the Coles Group family. They're just rebranding all Bi-Lo's to Coles...don't ask why, cause I dunno
