As a matter of fact I love the live action TMNT that was made in 1990. I can watch that night after night. The one in 2007... puke! Pure puke. No I haven't seen the new one (yet), but the reviews aren't all that positive, and 22,500 users on IMDb gave it a 6.4/10 whereas it's 1990 counterpart scored 6.7/10 from 57,879 users.

Do the maths.

Yes that was the best one. I didn't mind the sequel that came out in 1991 either.

You can't always tell how good, or bad, a movie will be from the trailer. I remember years ago I saw the trailer for The Village, and thought it might be ok. Watched the movie and thought it was absolute shizen houzen!!!

The trailer for The Phantom Menace was one of the best ever - what an awful piece of garbage that movie is.

I was excited to see The Happening after watching the trailer as well.

That didn't turn out well.

Watching The Happening as a thriller/horror is a terrible experience.

Watching The Happening as a comedy is pure gold!!!

Old lady : "Planning on MURDERING ME IN MY SLEEP!?"
Mark Wahlberg : "WHAT, NO?!" *cue Wahlberg confused face*

One of the most unintentionally funny moments in a serious movie I can remember.

I actually wouldn't mind watching that again, don't think I've seen it start to finish since first watching at the movies. Maybe I'll do a big M Night Shamalamadingdong movie marathon some time.

As for Ghostbusters, I'd rather they just not remake it at all, all-girl cast or not.
First movie is one of my all time favourites (one of those movies we taped off TV in the late 80s/early 90s and watched over and over about 3 million times), and I'd prefer just to watch the original on the big screen again than a reimagining.
