About 3 weeks ago I had trouble sleeping and felt like I was strangled, and opened the curtains to get rid of whatever was there. When I woke up next morning I found the TV cord wrapped around my neck twice. /quote]

They had tours going through there all the time. I don't think they have them anymore because the structure is not safe. Frankly I stay away from commercial tours that just want money from suckers.

Sorry i havnt read over this whole thread yet, as ghost shit totally freaks the hell out of me.. But anyway.. Here are some stories from my family.

I will start with my mum.

When she was a little girl, just after he father died, she saw him on the end of her bed, she then hid under the covers scared out of her mind.

Ok now this one is kinda freaky. As some of you may know, my sister is a police officer in the qld police. Anyway, she went to an accident on the bruce highway where 3 people were killed, anyway, she went to interview a family about 2 kms away on some mountain off the highway, and apparently the kids had seen 3 people sitting on their water tank then they dissapeared.. Now this family knew absoluletly nothing about this car accident.. Now thats f**ken freaky, when my sister first told me this i was freaked.

I have a couple of stories.

My mates house has furniture in it where it always makes a shadow of a bloke pointing his finger at you. Even if you move the furniture around and around it changes then you lkeave the room come back like 15 seconds later and the guy is pointing at you again. Even when there is no sun it happens.

My friends sister was sleeping and she woke up at exactly 12:00pm she just goes oh thats wierd and then she saw a girl on the end of her bed. She screamed and yelled but nobody could here her. The girl then told her how she lived in that house 40 years ago but her and her family died from a gas explosion. The girl raced into her mum and dads room and slept there. She then looked up the girl she saw on the internet and it was true that she died in a gas explosion in her house! She had to go see a shrink like for ages after that.

Skeptics
I used to have a mate in Charlestown who was a skeptic, he was such a drag to listen to sometimes.
So one night back in the eighties we took him out to Myall cemetary for a seance with us, halfway through the seance he jumped up and said who touched me on the neck, we said, not us, how could we all our hands are on top of the glass, and we all had our eyes open.
A few minutes later something touched him again and he really freaked out because he was watching the rest of us carefully and no one had moved.
He jumped up and ran back to the cars.
When we went after him we couldnt find him anywhere, so we walked around the graveyard looking for him and we found him in front of a white tree staring at it and shaking like a leaf , we grabbed him and he was saturated in a cold sweat and couldnt move, he could just move his legs so we dragged him back to the cars.
He never laughed in silly bravado about things he couldnt understand after that night, and as far as I know never told anyone what he saw.

Ron Jeremy, The church you are thinking of is St Bartholomew's (however you spell it), and I can say it isn't haunted, We used to go drinking up there for dares when we were 17 and nothing at all happened.

But there is an old cemetry out Windsor way that is really haunted, by a little girl. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, I think the girls name is Amy or something.

Mosts Ghosts are harmless, lost spirits who probably arent even aware that they are dead.
Now and then an angry or benelovent one is heard about, and the best thing you can do is leave them alone or they could hurt you.
