PENNYWISE
Best. Gig. Ever. Unbelievable night last night seeing Pennywise at the roundhouse.

Started with forgetting my ticket n having to turn around at waterfall to go and get it. Thus missed half of Bagster who were allright. Spent ages in merch line before geting my shirt. Then saw the goons of doom, who were absolutely horrendous, a f**ken aweful band (despite the singer lol).

Final the mood is set, roundhouse is packed, the piano starts and everyone starts moving in as Pennywise come out. In the crasiest pit i've been in they blast out some awesome songs including unknown road, cant believe it, my own way, my own country, alien, living for today, perfect people, same old story, f**k authority, my god, pennywise, land downunder and more, finally finishing with an amasing performance of Bro Hymm. That was an unbelievable gig, the mighty Pennywise not dissapointing.

So, in conclusion, PENNYWISE!!!

Cheers, Jack

Cant wait for The Strokes too mate!!

If you dont mind doing Internet transactions you could sign up for as a member at frontier touring to be eligible for presale from the www.frontiertouring.com.au and get in online, but you also have to be a ticketek member as well.
Well the Strokes show was Last Friday Nite, and what a fkn awesome thing it was. Highlight for me was Ize Of the World, despite the shaky start when the sound blew out for a moment, it was an hellacious epic experience with an on-point finish. Thanks again to Electric_Eels for that presale spotto. I love your ass.

Got tickets to see Spearhead at the start of Sept. I've been pretty slack this year with gigs as I was saving hard to go overseas in June/July. Last concert i went to would have been BDO in January.

have they sold out in Sydney yet?

The first Melbourne show managed to sell out before tickets even went on sale!

Go figure!

Initially they did, but they just annouced (a couple of days ago) they were moving it to a bigger venue to cope with demand. I got lucky the second time around.

Went to splendour and to see death cab and wolfmother, so in the last month or so I have seen:
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Sonic Youth
Death Cab
Dungen
Wolfmother
Jose Gonzales
THE STROKES (Who were dissapointing tbh)
You Am I
The Vines
The Grates
Mogwai

and a few more not really worth mentioning.

But the most exciting thing is that I'm going to see okkervil River on the 7th of September @ Newton RSL. Will Sheff is the best songwriter in the world, bar none.

Going to see Something With Numbers on their national tour in about 2 weeks. One of the best live bands in Australia, certainly the most underrated.

Lucky you! I love Karen O but there were no sideshows up in QLD. I saw The Grates and Arctic Monkeys on saturday night and they were both awesome, I was happy and totally sweaty by the end of the night from all the dancing and jumping around.
