Give Anthony Mitchell a chance

I thought Robson was great tonight but when he came off we seemed to lose a lot of spark from dummyhalf. Surely with a tiring forward pack that spark could have been created with a player like Anthony Mitchell. Matt Keating is just average. He is an honest toiler with limited ability.I find him so frustrating to watch. Mitchell is the key and could be the X factor that we need considering Mateo is off to the Warriors next year.

If ever a player needs to be given a shot soon it should be Mitchell.

I agree Avenger, and i'd like a dollar every time Keating has taken a wrong option in attack.

It would be worth a shot for sure. Let Robbo soak up the hard yards and tackles and then throw him Mitchell in.

While I too find Matt Keating's game lacks dimensions our 6 and 7 really need to grab him by the collar and the game by the balls and demand for the footy.

Our problem is that we do not have a natural 7. Both KK and Mortimer are 5/8ths.

Tie them to a chair, pin their eyelids back and force f**king feed them footage of Sterling, Langer, Johns, Stuart and co. Tell them everytime they don't scream for the ball when running sets at training they go for a lap. They sure as hell may not be natural born organisers but if they are truly hungry for the footy they make it come to them.

They both have talent and youthful exuberance but they need to start yapping.

Otherwise you bring Burt in from his wing and park him behind the ruck (floating) and tell him to scream til he is hoarse and call the shots.

Eh, to be fair to them they will continue to develop. It is simply frustrating to watch us continually flounder on 5th tackle plays.

With that all off my chest now, bring on the dragons.

i thought Hindy was very good. He and Gallen played like they wanted to show the selectors that they should be in the blues team.

I was gonna bring this up I agree. MK IMO is horrible he is flat and offers nothing. Time to give Mitchell a chance.

we may need to find a replacement for Hindy, it appears he's suffered a sternum injury.

If he keeps improving with each game, Tom Humble is going to fix this 6 problem. Mentally he already appears to be miles in front of KK. Under DA's latest team structure I still think that DM should stay at 7 and Robbo at 9.

It's time to give Humble a good shot at the 6 (interchange with Hayne at 1) and let KK fight out for the 14 or 9 or the PL 6 and be a back up 6 when required due to injuries.

Its mortimer that should be fighting for that bench spot on form. KK has done everything right since being promoted to first grade & does not deserve to be put on the bench. Mortimer has been below pace all year. ( i aint trying to bag the guy but just saying what we are all thinking) Humble & kk & to be the halves. The way we play kk & mortimer are both pllaying first recievver anyway. I still think mortimer would be special if turned into a dummy half

He wont drop him. To be honest if he doesnt start showing anything else this year. I think he can kiss a contract extension or long term position at the club goodbye

well given that he's here until the end of 2011, you don't have to be a road scolar to work that out..
