I have seen KK play half a few times, and to be honest even though he is a bit of a runner, he has it all over Mortimer in that position. I have said it before, in 2008 preseason he played 7, Hayne was 6, and he killed Pearce who was 7 for Roosters

Never understood why he is not 7. then again Morts is playing without confiidence, but I actually prefer KK or bring back Hodkinson ( I can dream) with Keating at 6 ( thanks supercoach)

I don't agree. There is no difference between playing 6 or 7. Only difference is one plays on the left and the other is on the right.

Well, I guess I`ll say it again. Do you really think John Sutton, Greg Bird, Terry Campese, Jamie Lyon (when he plays five-eight), Braith Anasta, Darren Lockyer, Trent Barrett, all play like half-backs? I know some teams adopt the 'two half-back model'. But I think there is still a place in the game for a specialist five-eight. And Anderson must think so too. He tried Hayne there, after all. And he`s not exactly a half-back style player, is he?

The way i see it is wenty are a damm good side so mitchell should be carving up for wenty if he is going to do anything in first grade. If he is jsut fitting in and not standing out than he wont cut first grade and its more than hope than anything...
I mean surely Ando notices that MK offere peanuts and would be keeping an eye on Mitchel

just on Anthony Mitchell, he could be ok to play this weekend after he hurt an ankle at training last week.

good call mate, some time at wenty for morts to get his confidence back is a good thing

Dropping Mullen and Wallace back to club footy from Origin didnt exactly help them.

Morts feels apart of the first grade team now. He knows he has a role to play. Snatching that away from him could do more harm then good.
