Gordon has been badly stuffed around by the club.
No doubt he's peaked as a player, but you can never doubt his effort every time he's pulled on a Sharks jersey - talk of him being a sook is rubbish.
We should have agreed to the Parra transfer as the best outcome for everyone, and it would have been win-win all round.

Who's the root cause of the stuff up & not following correct process ... well that will probably leak out over time.
But Lyall's value to the club >>>>>>> Flanno's value to the club.
It's a no-brainer who should eventually get the boot ...

With Flanno continuing as coach, it's like watching a car crash in ultra slow motion !!! :(:(:(:(:(

Come to be resigned to the fact he is with us for at least another 2 seasons and all the moaning and sniping aint going to get us anywhere.

I've critical beyond anything I thought I was capable of, but seriously I have been so incensed after that first and second game of the season that just couldn't get past it.
Still think he has no idea, but it will play out as it is now in the media for all its worth, one thing I hope is that we don't lose the CEO.

A great man once said many years ago when there was rumours of Preston Campbell leaving the club was untrue
"they will tear down the grand stand if preston campbell leaves"

Grand stand is still there, a dog barks and the caravan moves on.

Lyall sounded shit on talking sport. Just tried to deny everything without answering any questions.

Lyall is doing some serious back peddling on triple m.

This is very murky and there is a lot of bullshit getting told.

As a paying member im not happy Lyall is not being honest here.

Fairly ordinary episode according to Ennis on 360
Gordon ask for release
Flanno takes it to board
Board says no

Seems Gordon is trying to force an outcome which doesn't involve playing on the wing
Kent trying to beat it up as coach v ceo
If it is then lyle has the next move
And if flanno has indeed done something wrong then he must go
Ball in lyles court
As they say poop or get off the potty

Gordon's parting gift (if he goes) take Flan out with you... please...

Nothing against Flan's ability, he does have some talent both in recruitment and coaching (not good enough for a gf which is what we need to aim for) but he needs to go to give the club a fair, fresh start.

Its got to happen otherwise we tread water for the next 2 years. New CEO or not...

MICHAEL Gordon has sensationally walked out on Cronulla after the club promised him a release to Parramatta and then reneged.

Gordon failed to show at Cronulla training this morning after taking advice from the NRL Rugby League Players Association yesterday.

He was seeing a psychologist today, under instructions from the RLPA, to determine the impact on his mental health.

After viewing a transcript of the interaction between Flanagan and Gordon?s manager Andrew Purcell the RLPA has told Gordon he has a strong case to be released.

Gordon told Cronulla football manager Darren Mooney he could no longer work with Cronulla coach Shane Flanagan after a series of broken promises fractured their relationship.

The Sharks appealed to Gordon to have a week off before returning but Gordon is adamant the relationship is beyond repair.

Parramatta agreed to a deal with Cronulla?s two-time Player of the Year late last month but saw the deal evaporate when Cronulla officials learned Flanagan was negotiating with Parramatta without their knowledge.

The club released a statement saying it was not in the business of releasing player mid-season and that Gordon would stay.

However Gordon is paying the cost for Cronulla?s recruitment of Ben Barba, with both players sharing time on the field.

Flanagan realised the situation was unworkable and that Barba needed to have more time on the field given his high price tag.

When the Eels showed interest in Gordon he agreed to release him given his service to the club and because Parramatta had agreed to offer him a contract for 2016, a deal the Sharks could not match.

Mooney outed as the tattle tale huh

Frenzy.

Yeah, the bloke who was sacked, hospitalised then subsequently reinstated. All due to Pissflap.

It's Jack Bird's fault. If he wasn't playing so well at 6 Barba would be at 6 and Gordon at fullback. Coach Flanno should tell Bird to go back to the Dragons.
