Well done Nostradamus.
In other news, who gives a flying f**k about this game. We're not in it and we hate both of them with good reason.
With a better coach, Saints would still be in it.

Cmon man, at some stage of this season every team was a smoky.Remind me again; what were the Chooks’ premiership odds after Saints burst out of the blocks in round six?
Hmm...smokies, they were.

Gotta measure it from round 1 if you want bragging rights.
Roosters were never smokies.
Couldn't agree more. It pains to wonder what could of been, had we rested players at the right time, freshened them up and got them ready to go for the run into the finals.Considering the way the players that were still left performed busted, we could of done anything. With a better coach, Saints would still be in it.
Give me a break. Nobody ever wrote the chooks off! Everyone knew they would be there abouts come the end of the year. Smokies!? You are dreaming Jimmy.Nice avoidance of my original question.
I’ll go one better; what were the Chooks’ position on the ladder AND its premiership odds at the halfway point of the season?
By this stage, many had written it off.
Coughs....smokies!!!
To member Friz,
You have just won the Quote of the Year, Award.
Congratulations!

I'll give you credit for calling sharkies a premiership threat early on but you cannot be taking credit for saying Roosters were "smokies".
You’ve now avoided my question twice, a career in politics beckons. The Chooks were written off by the bookmakers and experts quite early on.

Not usually a betting girl but I have won back my money tenfold by calling a Storm/Roosters finals. I should add that I gambled responsibly. You’ve now avoided my question twice, a career in politics beckons. The Chooks were written off by the bookmakers and experts quite early on.
Problem is if Storm win again the NRL comp will start to look like an uneven playing field again as they proudly boast the Salary cap and the so called evenness of the results are showing. Notwithstanding they have been in the last 3 grand finals..LOLThe game was set up about half way through the season.
With 2 and possibly 3 of arguably the current biggest names in the game retiring, former team mates squaring off, a replay of last year and a chance for 1 to go back-to-back.
I'm going for a Storm win, if only to see the end of the Smith/Slater era.
BS jimmy the roosters before the season started were favourites or equal favourites before the season started never a Smokey.
What utter crap.
Sigh. Post just one link where an 'expert' had written the Roosters off. I'll bet you can't.Do you have any source to go with that crap?

Now, words that I never used are...well..being used!
By round six and with the Chooks out of form, its odds had skyrocketed.
You are never wrong jimmy but you are always wrong
FIGJAM or DILLIGAF?
You decide.
