The Dragons would have beaten the Rorters last night. I still can't get over the loss to the wabbits.

Actually I must admit possum that I was surprised by the roosters performance or should I say lack of . There simply wasn't anything there to worry Melbourne, I thought that Ferguson played very well as did Keary , but their forwards lacked the oomph needed to compete with the Storm . And yes I agree with what you said , the Dragons would had put on a better showing than the wabbits .

Roosters phenomenal defence will win out - im even tipping that Storm wont score more than one try!!

Ive never seen a more organised defensive line than the Roosters in living memory....

It’s the benchmark (Melbourne) versus my “smoky” (Chooks). Whoever had a decent crack at me for declaring these teams were the sides to beat, I only have one thing to say.

Haha

Elsewhere, Melbourne will win because the NRL are desperate to send Slater off on a winning note.
Well done Nostradamus.
In other news, who gives a flying f**k about this game. We're not in it and we hate both of them with good reason.

Might be a different story with a well-rested Nappa and Mitchell to join the ranks. Cronk may be a problem.

Oh well- couldn't care less either way.

This has utterly ruined my favourite day of the year (yes, better than Xmas)
I'm at a loss. I don't know how to deal with this travesty that has been heaped upon me. It's a no win situation, no underdog, no fairytale. Just your choice of 2 different shades of shit. It's depressing. I must have some painting or weed spraying or something to do.

LOL at Roosters being "smokies".
I think they started the season as favourites to win it.
I am pretty sure you had Sharks as smokies which, in hindsight, was a good call.
But Roosters smokies? Get ya hand off it Jimmy!

Don’t give a stuff who wins but I reckon the storm can cope better without Slater than the roosters can without Cronk. I don’t expect either to play.

Unless Mitchell decides to turn it on.

I hope that the chooks are getting beaten by 20 with 5 to go and JWH decides that he doesn't want to play on next year and goes ballistic and punches the shit out of Slater & Smith until 5 minutes after the full time hooter has sounded by which time KAOS has descend on the two teams and an all in brawl results.
Then after the Melbourne scum get their customary tattoos the NRL finds out that both teams have cheated the cap and they take back the premiership and both teams have to go around in 2019 for no points.
That would be a most enjoyable result IMO.
Other than that I'll probably go up the club and play darts all afternoon and pin some photos of Smith, Slater etc on the board for fun.
Read my mind

Yes you are not alone there , in as much as not caring too much - says it all about the game as it is nowadays. Such a shame that there was not another team there in the G.F. that the rugby league public could really get behind . However perhaps you are right about the addition of Napa and Mitchell , but Cronk will undoubtedly be a tremendous loss to the Chooks .

Don't go getting yourself all upset OKB1 as you would not be mixing with the ' riff raff ' at all . I had you pegged more like the Honourable Sir Les Patterson type of politician my friend. :yum:

Remind me again; what were the Chooks’ premiership odds after Saints burst out of the blocks in round six?

Hmm...smokies, they were.
