Greg Inglis out- Adam Mogg in. LOL

CANBERRA winger Adam Mogg is set for a shock State or Origin debut after being called up to replace the injured Greg Inglis in the Queensland team today.

The 28-year-old Sunshine Coast product will join the Maroons squad in camp in Brisbane tomorrow. Queensland has decided against flying Inglis to Brisbane for further assessment after he was diagnosed with stress fractures of the back which are expected to keep him out of action for 2-4 weeks.

Penrith's Rhys Wesser had been considered a more likely replacement for Inglis than Mogg.


Mogg and Brisbane fullback Karmichael Hunt will be both be making their Origin debuts at Suncorp Stadium next Wednesday.

Definitely was the best choice. Hes the form winger for us Raiders even though he was shifted back to center.

He certainly is a better winger than centre...he tends to Hogg the ball a tad and not pass to his winger when he's playing centre.

Another example of the arrogance an ignorance towards Our side displayed by many people on this forum. If you had actually sat down and watched Moggy play this season, you would agree that this selection is thoroughly deserved.

His defense has been sensational, he breaks the line regularly and is great attacking and defending under the high ball. He also has some much needed size that queensland need.

Comments such as these only show you haven't been watching him this season.
