I've heard the same thing as MITS but I don't think it means that a decision will be made in 4 or 5 weeks the article states that the decision will be made by March, I still hold the theory that it will be done prior to the AGM.

That's exactly right.
Fitzy won't sign Anderson. Stop dreaming everyone..
The 5 mth thing is to ensure Ando signs elsewhere so Fitzy has an excuse
The simple facts are Fitzy can only work with a select few people.
Forget about your Bennett's, Bellamy's, Stuart's & Anderson's.
I can see someone like our U/20's coach getting appointed.

CS, I think you with alot of other people get too caught up with media speculation, I can assure you that Anderson is well in the mix as is Flannagon.

not sure why people are laughing at the ben smith comment, we let a whole heap of easy tries in to oppossing wingers by not reading the play very well on the inside, someone like him I have no doubt would have squashed some of those tries, in the end giving us better opportunities to compete in the game, expecially in the closer games

Mate, to be honest I haven't read a paper in months. It's purely gut instinct. I just see Fitzy as a very beaurocratic leader.

he's beaurocratic alright but he's not stupid, he's not going to tell the media that a decision will be made prior to March only "by" March.

I could be wrong but I'm expecting it to be before the years out but naybe I'm being over optomistic.

I think we missed a fit Ben Smith more than what people imagine, he and Grothe owned that right side and not much was leaked out of there.

I hope you have good oil. Hagan this year has turned me off listening to post match interviews for life.

i have no doubt we missed him especially in defence but i just find it amusing hagan is pointing to that as the source of all our problems what about the forwards?

how the hell can he "turn things around" in the off season ?

this must make sense to some one but surely they have seen enough of Hagen to judge him on his achievements, or lack of

so Hagen is gonna put us through all the preseason work, then if he gets the flick we get a new coach for round 1

this has to be a joke, or its the stupidest thing I've ever heard

I agree Twiz, what can he do in the off season without a ball being kicked in anger.......... And it's not like we will sign some players to ease some pressure of him.

I think that the club has it's back against the wall in avoiding more bad press about the 2010 coach. They copped it deluxe from Gould & Co when they advised BS that his contract won't be renewed.

This time around they will need to manage it best they can to avoid similar fallout. Asking Hagan to to show good cause by March might just be setting him up to fall on his own sword.
