He's right, most Australian comedians today are boring and usualy cringe worthy.

Almost all. The exceptions being Rodney Rude & Kev. That's all sadly

Rodney Rude "retired" though didn't he? And Kev, well he is quite unique :lol: Does Carl Barron still tour? He was incredibly funny back in the day. Roy & HG are terrific aswell.

Why is it that most of the comedians that suck these days are Victorian?

Jim Jeffries is EASILY the funniest Australian comedian right now, and undoubtedly our most successful ever. Don't know any others that have had their own HBO special.
