Riddell and Kite where offered silly money. Riddell was replaced by young Mick Ennis whose purchase also made Withers role as an impact player redundant. Two birds, one stone, about 1/5 of the price.

But I cant believe you even mention something like this given you lot kicked out John Lang, Dally M winner Preston Campbell and Martin Lang who went on to win a premiership with Penrith in their first year - Coach Lang and Preston being central to their success. Also while most of the former Saints you mention left because they where Judas' or would'nt fit under the cap the Cronulla three where targetted and forced out of The Scum by your management.
