Hardest Pre-Season Ever

Mary always did a great pre season. Let's get him back as a consultant to take us to the next level.
Too late Parra out done us for his signature.
If Mary loved the Dragons he could do a SAAB with all the commuting and ditch his Parra contract - it wouldn’t be very comfortable being uncomfortable and all those RBT.

We are going to get a lot of these fluff pieces but i understand that keeps the game alive in the off season and keeps sponsors happy. From most Dragons supporters perspective we are tired of the statements and want actions on the field.

Be interesting to see if all this pre season hype re training harder than ever and players are competing hard for positions will come to fruition this coming season.....you can have the best coaches, trainers, conditioners etc but its like running a marathon everyone trains hard and starts in a bunch, most are still in with a chance at the half way mark but its whos left at the finish that counts...guess we will have to wait and see where we are at the pointy end

Yeah to be honest these articles are just lip service. They don’t mean anything at all. Just a bunch of clichés that every club in the NRL puts out for sponsors and fans.
It’s where the old gag “training the house down” comes from.
We’ve been training the house down for the last decade!
Competition for spots! Pretty sure last off season they said the same thing?
Who played fullback round 1 for us last year? Was it Duff? Then Ramsay? Then Corey? Then Sloan? Then Birdy?
So much competition for spots!

Yep those articles have more fluff in them than the Taj did on a Friday night back in the mid 70’s.

Geeez H Chrust ! They conned me , all those fellas look so damn honest too , especially the bloke with only 2 teeth in his gob and the scar that ran down the side of his face .

Next thing you will tell me is that they moonlight as politicians in their night jobs . 😳

The Daily Telegraph has an article about the Dragons but it is behind a paywall.

Basically it starts off as -

Dragons’ 2022 plan of attack revealed

It’s a new-look St George Illawarra Dragons outfit and they are preparing to blow their rivals off the park next season in a big move away from the norm. SUBSCRIBE to find out how

It will be interesting to see who or what they will be moving away from?!

Apparently the Dragons are going on a 2 day camp in Gerringong and focussing solely on attack for the entire 2 days. Hope it works.

I think the first sentence has a typo: it's meant to say "a big move away from the Norman".
