I think I have already posted in here but will again anyway.

I love the new logo, it looks fantastic and is one of the best Rugby League logos I have ever seen. I also love the new colours, I think the new jerseys are a bit plain but for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere it is important to remember that Super League jerseys often change every year and this year is all about the new identity and getting solid footings in the ground.

At least this way some of those that stayed away from QuinsRL will now come back - I know a couple of them who are now looking to return

yes, have emailed my cousin. He is now likely to attend at least some games. He has not attended since the Quins venture.

Thousands stayed away apparently

Never let a fact get in the way of another urban myth eh lads.......but sad to say, the average attendance at the Stoop since we returned there in 2006 has been 3,596. The previous 6 seasons as the London Broncos averaged.....er....3,569........so crowds went UP at the Stoop II.

Any so called RL fan that stayed away from the team because of the name and the colours is no true fan of London RL...they are just small minded bigots. The Name was the only way that the proRL team could survive......as an ex-london Irish player I hated putting on that quartered shirt, but I support my team, regardless of who they USED to stay afloat.

The new Shirt will look a lot better with a sponsor or 10 :D........it was designed after consultation with the players, who all had their say, the marketing strategy has been devised so as to attract new fans and is being given added assistance from the RFL as was seen at the double header at Wembley. The ST, at 99 notes for 13 home games and potentially a home CC game is excellent VFM and I have to say, I was surprised that the quality of the "were back" T-shirts is pretty good.

I have no doubt the club will make a few c**k-ups over the next 12 months, but with the squad assembled and with a CEO who reckons he will succeed or die trying, I reckon the next 3 years could be the best in the history of our nomadic london RL club!

Anyone involved in London RL prior to 1995 would have been only too aware of the crap that we had to deal with from union and its acolytes. With Harlequins being the quintessential union club it was bound to put people off, and I personally know people who had been involved with the club/game in general for many, many years who walked away. I'm not going to criticise them for that.

The other thing to bear in mind is that it was abundantly clear to anyone involved in the game in London that the Quins RL venture was never going to work.

Agree with the rest of your post though, the club has made a good start over the last few weeks.
