Standout for HM was Ryan Wilson a handful all day for young Hopoate. (no pun intended) Reece looked good at Hooker but the fact he played 4 positions again throughout the match must make it tough on the kid.

Ball seemed to be better in every position to Manly. They were better up front without dominating and better out wide and in the halves than Manly.

How did both sets of halves go today against Manly?
Hopoate? which one is this? Isnt William in SG Ball :?

Also i know that WSAS HM Won something like 28-8 against SWSAS, Bryce Cartwright and Jakiel Fuimaono both played well.

Yeah penrith matts played real well, however not without the cost of some injuries. Johnny Tapuaga looks worrying coming off with a knee injury, and Jason Doran looked in big trouble hurting his ankle 2 minutes after coming on, didn't return for rest of game.
Also ryan wilson looked like he cut his face pretty bad, and another kid come off on a stretcher.

Jamil Hopoate is William's younger brother.

I think he's young enough to play Harold Matthews again next year as well.

HM halves werent that dominate over their counterparts but they shifted the ball well to the edges, especially Wilson and he caused the havoc. They performed their job kicking game was decent too.

Harry probably had one of his better games although did come off in the second half with some type of injury. Moylan played pretty solidly and stepped up when Harry was off and scored a good solo try.

Girvie is on the money Jamil is a year young and the second of nine Hopoate's. Will is playing 20's but out with shoulder injury at the moment.

Injury toll wont end up being that bad. Wilson only has a swollen lip which was bleeding throughout the game. Cy Samuels was stretchered off but was back running the sideline pretty freely later in the game. Doran and Johnny are the only real concerns although Doran seemed to be moving pretty well post game.

First Iddles now Doran, if they didn't keep messing around with their forward pack they might develop some structure. Forward's form depends on their confidence level, look at tuivasa he's confidence level has risen so high. These Forwards, Especially front rowers cannot play well together when they are constantly worried about being benched the following week, or even not playing. Look at fatialofa, last week he was starting front row, this week he wasnt even in the 17. Doran starting Front row last week, dropped to the bench. Joel Waddel, starting hooker last week, dropped to bench. I know changes needed to be made, but seriously these kids are only 15 and 16, they are under way too much pressure to perform. I have heard rumours that Iddles walked out on Penrith. They need to stick with a solid forward pack on a weekly basis if they want to get the roll-on needed if they are to contend in the finals series.

your H Matts B team scored a creditable draw vs Gold Coast yesterday 14-14 - the Penrith based boys all played very well, with Webby and Nathan Ant. combining for the levelling try (tho' Webby missed the kick from in front having slotted a beauty from out wide earlier!). Pele and BJ both had top games in 26deg heat and Roosters carrying injuries which meant at least two forwards played full games. GC boys got very tired towards the end (maybe the travel?) and Roosters finsihed the better. The GC halves are by far the best I've seen this season, especially the #7 whose back up play was outstanding. They have a couple of excellent forwards as well (#8 and #11) and you wouldn't want to meet them in the finals - especially away.

clearly, your either roosters HM biggest fan , a player , or a parent.
my guess would be either , Mr Antonelli , Mr Webb or Mrs Atwood

player, parent, coaching staff?

Parent my friend ,
and i actually dont think Roosters HM team are all that flash .
sure they have got some talent . But i dont think it will go much further than what it has.
they got lucky against penrith rounds back , if if that luck runs then they can say goodbye to winning games.
(just my opinion)
