He won the Harold Matthews Player of the Year playing Front Row, so i don't see why they would move him.

Jakiel has good mobility and great hands and ball skills to play wide and definitely could be successful there just not sure they have the luxury with a lack of size up front.

Stretch what can you tell us about Lee Addison?

Lee Addison hails from England and came to aussie a few years back coached at manly for two or three years before making a move to academy matts last year is also head coach at the much improved St Gregs school team who just won MCS GFinal he also coached England under 18s national team i think he could be an asset for penrith...

I've heard Tai and Antonelli have both signed with roosters, but im pretty sure the other two are both wanting to play for Penrith if they are good enough? are they good enough?

Aaron Tavaale is playing for penrith and watched him play against wests in the july trial was the best forward on the day and jason doran is to unfit still needs to work on his fitness and speed has a great offload..

I wouldnt imagine penrith would be to happy about them leaving in the first place and i guess if they thought highly of them they would of bent over backwards to keep them when they had the chance...

Yeah I thought Aaron was still at Penrith, would like to see him play in the back row but. Yeah Doran is a bit slow but strong as an ox and as you said great ofload.
Have either of them signed contracts with other clubs because both should be in 2011 squad in my opinion.

Another non local junior we have probably paid overs for. Penrith have a knack for wasting money on these kids that never go on, for us that is. What Jake Seaton was on could have paid for 5 or 6 local juniors, Harry Sjekia could pay for the whole squad. We signed a guy last year that didnt even come here, Max Ray. The year Graham and Waddell played sg ball they had 6 guys from Qld, none are still here. Penrith should wake up and look after there own, they may become more successful if they did. Everyone bags penrith with the biggest junior nursery, but alot of there junior guys come from country, qld and nz.

The age also seems short of a couple of big tough front rowers, the centres outside backs and fullback position is as strong as any club, but halves have been and are the major concern.

I do agree with what you are saying but if we dont have a player good enogh for a certain position for eg:next years ball dosent have a half back then why not buy one and besides every other club in the nrl is doing it and having success namely bulldogs and melbourne have one homegrown player in last years ball age and they made the gf two years ago and beat penrith in the semis this year and in relation to iain riccardi signing he was a standout for the queensland side and very sort after by other clubs so i dont have a problem if it fills a void as long as they dont do it for the matts age ever we have enough to go around there.Secondly penrith have signed some good juniors in the past from queensland the ones that come to mind are REECE WESSER,MATT SING,MATT BELL, and im sure theres a heap more so signing one or two players isnt as bad as other clubs bulldogs have ten imports parra have several imports and we know that the roosters fly 6or7 down every friday from queensland to train then play saturdays

Joel waddell has broken his leg, very unlikely he will end up playing much, if any SG Ball.
