Matt’s and ball has been going for 4 weeks .Matts has coped a few big scores against them

I noticed this. Is it a concern? I think SG ball is more an indicator the HM.
In saying this you could have 2 or 3 future NRL stars in Sg ball mixed with 14 duds and the side will go poorly. While the winners could have 8-9 future average NRL players who nobody cares much about keeping at the club.

Been disappointing starts by both Ball and Matts.

Ball play the league leaders in the Steelers on Friday night and in Matts we are outside the semi final places as are the Steelers.

Both sides could do with the two points if they to give themselves a chance of making the playoffs.

Both grades last year 6 wins was the cut off for the finals

Seems the golden era is ending

Nah we just have lost a few guys. So our depth in the lower grades is shit.

Jesse McLean's brother Casey has been running around with Flegg/NSW Cup.

A few others that could be in Ball aren't.

Same as last year. Jesse McLean, Hassett and Scott made NSW u19's but didn't play in SG Ball

Results look bad but the talent is still there to make us be top 4 for a while yet

Casey is a big kid, looks like a young critta but filled out a little more, he’s going to a good one. Would be cool in a few years to watch the McLean and Lemoto brothers running around in fg together.

Probably ends up too big for a centre but a left edge of the McLeans would be cool

Ar

Are the Steelers any good

In Matts no. In Ball they are 1st.

We are in the top 6 in Matts

8th in Ball but have played the top 3,

Should make the finals in both, Which is good considering Ball hasn't had a couple of key players

Ivan there last night to watch his son in Ball. Interesting Craig Fitzgibbon there as well to watch his son who was half for Illawarra in ball.

Illawarra mums and dads sitting around me were stunned at how badly there boys played in the loss in Ball. They certainly had a lot of ball given the number of penalties and set restarts the ref gave Illawarra so our boys did well to come away with the two points,

That helped them comeback from 18-0 down

The steelers have had a soft draw so far.
The rooster have moved into the central west of NSW signing plenty of kids 15 and 16 years of age. They have signed at least 3 under 16 year old from Orange alone. Plus others from Dubbo and Bathurst.
That’s disappointing if we have abandoned that area some of our best are from the region
