St George Illawarra Dragons second-rower Bronson Harrison is optimistic in his outlook for next season’s campaign involving his new teammates.
The New Zealand international, who joined the Red-and-Whites from the Canberra Raiders during, has enjoyed the transition and believes fresh ideas and new cohorts will help improve his game.
Harrison is focusing on preparing his body but has his eye on a starting position when the 2013 NRL season kicks off in March.
“I can’t wait for the start of the season; I’m excited to start playing for a new club,” said Harrison.
“The pre-season has been great with a new team and different training schedules which has been providing me with variety.
“I’m starting to get to know all the boys as well as the coaching staff and learning the drills and structure of the Club.
“Everyone has been taking good care of me and made me feel very welcome.
“I’ve been picking up things here and there from the senior players so hopefully I can incorporate it into my game.
“I need to keep working hard and adapt to the new surroundings but the goal remains to be part of the starting team.
“Every player aims for that no matter what the team so I just have to keep pushing myself.”
