When Adam Blair left Melbourne I was convinced the Tigers had made a dud buy. The bloke is gifted but having watched him for years at Storm it was clear he is completely l-a-z-y. It was only the hard-arseness of Bellamy that got him making any sort of effort; with Mr Cruisy Tim Sheens as coach he plays as if he's wearing a Hawaiian shirt. 35m he ran tonight. Add that to his four missed tackles and complete air of indifference to the contest, and recruiting him could be the worst deal of the year.

I don't get the Sandow hate. I can't stand the bloke but he at least has had a few classy touches resulting in a few tries to his tally. Sandow at least gives it a go where as Blair is just a lazy, f**khead cheap shot merchant.

You also has to remember he's playing for the Eels this year, who are woeful as a complete unit.

Hope he is charged for the chicken wing. Currently, the biggest grub in the game by a fair margin.

Has any player thats left Melbourne been a good buy? Even Inglis has gone backwards.

Jezza Smith won a REAL premiership on leaving Melbourne, and is playing well at Cronulla!

Steve Turner hasn't been terrible either. Tolman also springs to mind.

I was stoked a few years back when the Cows signed Antonio Kaufusi from the Storm. But just like Blair at the Tigers, he turned into a fat, lazy shit and we were happy to see the back of him.

Yeah...Orford won the Dally M at Manly. Crazy I know. Steve Bell also played pretty well - but he was always consistent anyways.

Maloney was not a regular first grader but clearly he's gone onto better things. Nathan Friend was one of the best bench players in the league before he went to the Tits and played great - but don't think he was any better..just got more minutes.

Apart from that...

Ben Cross: no
Crocker: no
Folau: no
Inglis: no
Turner: no
Tagatese: no
Jeremy Smith: no
Brett White: no
Blair: no
Webster: no
Tomane: no
Champion: not likely tool
The list goes on and on and on...

the Knights haven't received much value from anyone we've taken from the Storm. Ben Cross tried hard, but wasn't up to it. Kirk Reynoldson was just taking the piss the entire time, pretty much.

Jeremy Smith was very good at the Dragons and is going alright for the Sharks.
Dallas Johnson has been good for the Cows.

You're kidding, right? He was great for Saints, and actually won a Premiership.

The worst part of the Blair signing is the depth the Tigers have sacrificed.

Their bench is horrible, and their pack has lost every forward battle this season.
