Look you all, we all spend time at this forum because we love the game of rugby league. So why is it I look at the first page of the forum and find topics that hate on people like Hayne, Folau, Dave Taylor and Hindmarsh. These are some of the most exciting players in the game and you all trying to bring them down? Would you blame the players for going to Union and AFL if thats the attitude of our fanbase.


I dont expect this place to be a big buttkissing session but damn, show some respect for these players especially to those who have earned it.

People like to let off steam and some are best at doing it behind a keyboard rather than face to face. Probably a good idea for some of the posters, as imagine what would happen to some of us if we got into a fight with an NRL player.

Hindy aint exciting? He may not be out there beating players for pace or doing cartwheels after he scores tries but hes one of the most respected, well liked and popular players for NRL fans. Theres a reason he was fans player of the year for 5 years straight, does that sound like a playa whos boring to the fans?

Hazem was the same way, wasnt the most dynamic player but he was everybodys favoirute doggy

He has never announced he is leaving Rugby League yet. Although if he leaves Brisbane and comes back to Melbourne to play Rugby, he will be seen as a turncoat after his excuse to leave the Storm was to be closer to his family in Brisbane.

Hayne - mainly Gaba because half of Saints missed tackles stats cane from one Hayne try at Kogarah last September

Folau: Because he was going home to be close to his family and for religeous reasons, but is now going (apparently) back to Melbourne. Footnote - maybe he saw the rorting in Melbourne, didn't approve, and got out. If so, he's a class act and I applaud him for that.

Taylor: Broncos fans wondering how the club they wanted kicked out a decade ago snared their only decent forward.

Hindmarsh: Mainly Raiders fans because they could only buy the less talented big brother, or because they are desperate to elevate Tongue (who is 75% Hindmarsh in everything - tackles, hitups, games played, and size)

And finally
Rap and doof doof music: Mainly because of lack of musical quality and the immature American wannabees that flock to the genre. But mostly because anyone who has heard Dio, Sabbath, Maiden etc wonders how the f*ck anyone can listen to such crap, boring, pathetic music.
