Verbal assurance ink, your clown CEO has already stated this is so. No written release.

No thanks we want players with heart. make no bones about it he'll be wearing black, gold and white in 2012.

Saints fans are hammering Moltz ( understandably I will add ) because he signed a contract with them but doesn't wanna play there anymore.

Hasn't Gasnier done the same thing?

He has 2 years to run on his contract and is saying he doesn't want to play for them anymore.

Same Same.

Cue Willow.

Take him.

Please!

not in a million years. just give the saints some money so they can spend it on a real player. can't believe they offered him a cent over $50,000.

thankfully he and the tigers are unprofessional swine so the saints don't have to deal with him and his soft attitude.

Jubbsy, tell me how Gasnier not wanting to honor his legal and binding contract commitments is any different.

Do the Dragons have the right to stop him from retiring?

You need to stop reproducing with your family members, don't make things personal you knob.

No points for originality there.

A player choosing to retire early is completely different to a player reneging on a deal in order to continue playing for an opposing team. If Gasnier had chucked in his Dragons contract to go and play for another team, you may have a point.

In addition, Gasnier made his decision at a time when the club could then go and look for other players to fill out their squad. In contrast, we had poor Timmy who suddenly has reneged on his deal at a time when there is no opportunity for the club to pursue other players.

If you can't see the difference, time to step up the meds.

Yes, but he has still chosen not to honor the terms and conditions of his legally binding contract. Yes or no?

As far as the meds go, I am a tampon man personally.

No. The contract was terminated by mutual agreement between him and Saints when he indicated that he no longer had the desire to play on.

But you have already admitted it is not an analogous situation to Moltzengate so it's a strawman argument.

I wouldn't find the situations comparable at all personally.

It does raise the eyebrows though when weighing up that Gasniers contract value for year 2010 was accepted in part because of the remaining time on the contract after 2010 thus justifying the extremely low salary cap included contract for the 2010 season.

Back to the Moltzen situation I hope the NRL makes him sit out the year personally

Saints could do the same with Moltzen.
