hayne is a cat - lays down trying to milk penalties on more occassions than any other player in the NRL.

Didn't Slater elbow Hayne in the head about 2 mins later?????? Archer clearly signalled, elbow.

If you call an elbow behind Haynes neck as an elbow. Also Slater doesn't have carry over points on his record like Hayne and his infringment was dealt with on the field with a sinbin

I dont know if it honestly deserves a suspension. thinking about it realistically, how is that soft headbutt any worse than the a punch to the head that slater did or that people do in general every week?

I should say I hate Hayne as well but I dont think that deserves a suspension

It was absolute blatant a headbutt and as much of a scum of a player Slater is it deserves time.

Great game to watch, games with that spice factor are always better. Disappointed in the crowd though 7500 is not good enough

lol haynes headbutt was more of a bump slater reacted....then slater comes in and tries to put one back on hayne...the whole time both hayne and slater were laughing...bit of niggle spiced up the game. but deadset slater walking off looked like he was about to cry....both wont get anything for it

having seen both they are both soft incidents.

headbutt barely connected and slater hit thin air.

but if hayne gets a suspension so should slater.

Yes - clearly pre-meditated, and will attract a much higher charge than the Hayne head-but (which was stupid, and deserves a week)

Slater didn't land it, but that's irrelevant since it was 1 minute after a blow up (involving the same 2 players) and clearly a deliberate and premeditated action.

Melbourne have been playing like that since they lost the rights to play for points. Still they have been in some hella exciting games.
