Why do i feel this will end in tears for the club and fans.

Surely signing a quality front rower should have been the priority.

Hayne is 30 come February his best days are behind him. He would be my 3rd choice fullback anyway. And whats the point of paying money to a bloke who turns up 5 times a year and looks disinterested for the rest the centres would be the only option for me and i hope its under 500k.

Otherwise BA and the club are just wasting money and all the hard work they have done over the past 2 years.

Timana tahu came back and only lasted 6 months. Foran didnt even get to July so hopefully hayne proves me wrong and this will end better then that but i am not getting my hopes up.

Thing is, we were 2 games away from a GF this year with the squad we have, minus Semi now - what if one or 2 of those 5 games he turns up for in 2018 are the 2 or 3 games we need to take the next few steps to win a premiership? For a one year deal I think long suffering Eels fans should take the punt.... And like most people, I'll back whatever BAs decision is on this. If BA backs himself to get the best out of Hayne for 1 year that's good enough for me

Well, I mean, we were lacking a certain type of body type up front - so BA signed Evans and Williams to correct it.

This current forward pack was good enough to take us to 4th - surely with the addition of two massive humans in Evans and Williams, we can compete in a more physical way?

And Hayne on a smart one-year deal is a good replacement for Semi, I think.

Most people agreed we needed the following:

Some big bodies in the middle
A hooker
And a replacement for semi.

We look to have signed Kane Evans, T-Rex and possibly Hayne. We missed out on a hooker but Please tell me what better options we could have got for those positions
Lichaa and Peats were off contract so it could be argued we could have strengthened hooker but your point stands with the other positions.

I’ll also add that if we do snare Hayne the I can live with King and Kaysa as our hooker options.

BA won't let Hayne only turn up for 5 games this year. BA will send him down to Wenty if he isn't putting in the effort and I have no doubt BA will lay the law down from day 1.

Exactly... I’m not too keen on the idea, but IF we sign him it will be because BA is confident he can manage him. I don’t think BA would risk what we built this season by adding an unknown or erratic player to the fold, if he signs him, it’s because they’ve had a heart to heart, BA has laid down the law and Hayne was agreed to BA’s terms

Don't want him to return. His used by dates is long gone.
He can follow his money and his dreams and play somewhere else.
Does not have the X factors anymore. He is just a waste of money,
Does not have the passion or the heart for Parra. His mouth say He loves Parra, his mind says money and his body and hands say fumbles fumbles fumbles.

The hard to read nature of these two sentences indicates that you probably post over on the filthy spammers.

But I think you are talking about Hayne’s back. I wouldn’t mind Hayne’s back. It’s quite muscular.

Relatively hair and pimple free too with a lovely complexion.. I’m quite a fan
