But it has to be big enough to justify moving that player on (ie termination, essentially). There is still a binding contract. If it's just something minor the player is well within their contractual rights to dig their feet in and fight it.

I can't see something with Norman escaping media attention no matter how small, given the year he had last year.
If Norman isn’t happy with his contract (for example), he might be happy moving to a more desperate club offering more money.

Yeah I think Norman doing a Moylan is more likely than a contract ending indiscretion. And it'd be a hard thing for a club to say "Yeah we admit we f**ked you over last contract negotiation so here's a new contract" when they can just say "We admit we f**ked you over, but now you're threatening to play like shit so we're going to rissole you for that guy who f**ked us over that time and that other time"

The more I think about it, the more I just can't see any truth to it.

Why would all the rumours be about a "cut price, take it or leave it" deal if we were moving on two of our best players to fit him in?

That's before you consider why BA would shop around Norman, whom he has consistently backed, to sign a fullback who, whilst a quality playmaker in the right situation, is still an outside back. It's not his MO as a coach tbh.

And he has shouted Kenny's praises all season. Doesn't make a lick of sense that he would want to move him on for Hayne.
No. I think its bullshit as well.

But we don't examine Hayne's?
Hayne doesn’t actually threaten his organisation’s reputation though, does he? Just raises questions about his value for money. The Titans signed him to raise the club’s profile. He would do the same for the Eels. Meanwhile no club would sign Norman or Edwards to boost their marketability.

You are talking in riddles. Come out with whatever it is you are trying to say.

He's not talking in riddles, he's just saying that, when the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Or something like that. Or what does CNN stand for: a) Corey Nesbitt News, b) Cable News Network, c) Corey Norman's Nuts, or d) Corey Norman News. or e) both c and d splashed all over some hypothetical media source.

Quiet day in the office I see....

For the record, I trust avengers info and I believe he’s being quite genuine...The Norman thing makes a lot of sense if what I heard is true, I think he’s run his race at the club and he needs a change...

The Kenny thing would surprise me as an outsider looking in but I do know 2 things, 1 he has strong footballing connections there and his kids live in the Gold Coast, 2 things that may see him move if he needs to.

If Normie goes, and still a big if for mine, we need a decent 5/8 and Hayne is not a 5/8.

We'd need another replacement other than Hayne, Dargan may have been an option but he's off I beleive. Big mistake if we dont get another half imo.
