Stop asking valid questions..... You would have no business bieng a journalist hiney.....How will a back line player be squeezed out when we haven’t replaced Semi???
Neither would yuo.Stop asking valid questions..... You would have no business bieng a journalist hiney.....
Yaeh his speling is two goud.Neither would yuo.
One of my sub-editors would have picked that up....Neither would yuo.
I agree with you Hindy. Whilst he has plenty of potential, I didn’t think he was a standout at fullback. He looked far more impressive on the wing except for rucking it out. That’s not to say he won’t become a superstar fullback, but he’d be 3rd in line IMO.Suprised people are so sold in Bevan over Hayne. He is 30yld, played on the biggest stage and won 2 dally m. Bevan has potential. I am not yet convinced he is a star.

- Jarryd Hayne rejoins Parramatta Eels from Gold Coast
"It was unbelievable, you can't really explain it," the former San Francisco 49ers NFL player said.
Hayne rejoined the Eels after leaving the Gold Coast Titans recently. There was a time when he could virtually walk on rugby league water.
He reached the city amid the uproar that followed US President Donald Trump's recognising Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
"I was pretty scared going down first night but I had a good tour guide with me," he said.
"Walking down the first day (through Jerusalem) seeing how people hold themselves, not letting fear overcome them. That's something that overwhelmed me, these people don't fear death."
He was astounded by the way people prayed and moved around the city.
"That was something that really stuck out to me. They know their calling – they are not looking for something to live for but they are looking for something to die for and to them God is worth dying for.
"You see people at the Western wall praying and even the Muslims at their precinct as well, there was no fear of repercussions or whatsoever and that's something that really stood out on the trip."
Hayne was also baptised for a second time while in the city.
"It was awesome, it was in the Jordan River the same river that Jesus got baptised in and that was really special."
Hayne's arrival will result in a player being squeezed out of the Parramatta back line.
Parramatta spent only A$500,000 (NZ$552,000) on the cross-code star, leaving them with sufficient room to add to their roster before the March kick-off.
Hayne took a A$700,000 (NZ$774,000) pay cut to rejoin Parramatta.
He walked away from the A$1.2 million (NZ$1.33 million) salary he stood to earn in the final year of his Gold Coast contract. It ends a disastrous stint on the Gold Coast.

Those that are suggesting he plays elsewhere are doing so because they don't want to weaken the wing position. I can see why some people don't support putting someone at wing who is crap rucking it out.
I don't think this is about Hayne v French. It's about making sure that we configure our best 17 in a way that doesn't weaken any positions.
try watching him play
Can you name any current first grade wingers that aren't expected to 'ruck it out' and are only there for their finishing and try scoring?Rucking it out is important for a winger. But there are other ways to gain ground (e.g: Luke Burt, Nathan Merrit). I see French as a Nathan Merrit style winger, with perhaps more skill and maybe more speed. Even though these sorts of wingers don't 'ruck the ball out', they make valuable ground at other periods of the game ans are exceptionally good finishers and try-scorers. I think there is definitely still a place for these types of wingers.
