Seems like the case was dismissed in court and the civil injunction which has an incredible lower level of proof ( Semi's case was also dismissed in the court of law) are the step to get damages of some sort.

Could be an opportunity to chase money rather than much else, not sure if he will receive any penalty unless he returns to Califormia. These cases unfortunately often have a ring of opportunism in the at the moment

Sort of. It has never been to court. The DA's office decided there was not sufficient evidence to have a reasonable chance of success in court. None of us know what happened....but I'm sure plenty will convince themselves either way. One bloke in particular.
