I've always maintained I'd give Hayne credit when he deserved it. Today he deserved it - nailed the field goal under pressure when Moses missed his chance (and a few goal kicks too).

Will he be worth $1.3m ? Those who lean towards no will say that he's not a top 5 player in 2017, so not worth it. Those who lean towards yes will use the Izzy argument and talk about ticket sales and marketing.

Thing I dont get is why after 8 weeks of Fiji training and 1 month of unemployment that he is not sharper. Ive heard.people say that he's not a good trainer but did not believe it TBH.

Yep Hayne has a special clause in his contract called the Bart clause. If phantom eel judges Hayne to have made it by the end of his second game back then he can leave the Titans immediately while still being paid 1.2 million a year for the next 2 years and go and play French or Japanese rugby. Lol

Its hurts watching him ply his trade elsewhere but I remain of the opinion that his cost both finantially and culturally to our club would have been too great. I must say though Im a very interested observer.
