JARRYD Hayne has been given the ultimate snub by the Eels with the Hayne Plane nowhere to be seen during a special video tribute to Parramatta Stadium.

The Eels posted a 158-second video tribute to their soon-to-be-demolished home ground that included many wonderful on-field moments, including Ray Price leading the side out for their first home match in 1986.

Peter Sterling, Brett Kenny, Nathan Hindmarsh and Nathan Cayless all get a start. So does Semi Radradra, the Fijian flyer who threatened to quit the club earlier this year, and Steve Sharp, the disgraced chairman sacked following club salary cap rorts.

Yet for all of Hayne’s brilliance, his two Dally Ms, his tries and linebreaks, there was no room in the final cut.

He played at Parramatta for nine years, and single-handedly piloted them to an unlikely grand final in 2009.

Eels officials told Sport Confidential the snub was not deliberate, and pointed out Hayne featured in plenty of tributes at the ground on Monday night. He also featured in a team of the top 30 players to mark 30 years at the Western Sydney venue.

Lol, Hayne's best 'highlights' work was always in Origin, apart from our run to the finals on the back of our forward pack in late 2009
