Let's get him anyway.I struggle to see where he'd even fit into our team tbh... centre would be the only place and he'd want marquee money,
The plane's Eels career has flown...

For sure, but i reckon his best is long goneHayne at his best is still the best player I have ever seen and I have been following this game since the mid 70's. Jennings isn't in the same ballpark.
I'm not so sure. Came back fat so I'd pretty much discount last season. Then injured in the nines so much the same. I doubt he'll ever be the fullback he was (few will) but I'd guess that in good shape he could still be an elite centre and possibly six. But almost certainly too expensive. For sure, but i reckon his best is long gone

How much money is Hayne worth now? Don't think anyone would offer more than 1.2mill that the titans offer is worth. Would he take a pay cut to come back.
He's just a bloody normal bloke. A normal bloke who likes a bit of torture. And what do you think of Hayne the person?
No chance. He'll take up his Titans option and hope he's in good form by this time next year. How much money is Hayne worth now? Don't think anyone would offer more than 1.2mill that the titans offer is worth. Would he take a pay cut to come back.
I'm sure he's the guy behind all those YouTube kitten videos. The ones that end really badly. He's just a bloody normal bloke. A normal bloke who likes a bit of torture.
See @Noise - People are bi-polar around here!I reckon there is still a chance he may return. He has until the end of the month to take his option at the Titans. Can't believe I'm saying this considering I was his biggest fan but I hope we pass on him.
This.I wouldn't say Hayne is the best. I'd say he's probably the most talented yes. He lacked ticker and drive to be the best. Had Hayne had the right attitude, I have no doubt he would've been the best ever.
Yeah. He was easily our best player in those years. As an Eels fan though he will always be remembered for being the sole reason we were able to watch out team from 2010-2014 with even a glimmer of hope.
Good question!People or person?
I do agree with your point though. He had the ability to be remembered as one of the best. Now he will be put in the Owen Cragie list of what could have beenYeah. He was easily our best player in those years.
Sad really. Such a waste of talent.I do agree with your point though. He had the ability to be remembered as one of the best. Now he will be put in the Owen Cragie list of what could have been
